Located midway between Looe and Polperro are the secluded twin coves of Talland Bay. This section of the Cornish coast is surprisingly unspoilt and is designated both an Area of Outstanding Beauty and a Heritage Coast. Both towns are within easy walking distance via the Southwest Coast Path and both beaches are ideal for families to spend the day on beach and a pleasant alternative to Looe. Location: Head towards Pelynt from Cartole and follow signs to Looe along the B359 turn right on the A387 to Talland.

Nearest car park: There are a few parking spaces on the roadside near the sea along with a small, free car park near Smugglers Cottage along with a pay and display car park at The Beach Café.
Access: From this car park there is a 2 minute walk.

Swimming: Steep shelf, there can be strong rip
Toilets: Yes, at the Beach Café.
Refreshments: Café and pubs close by.
