Penny's Cottage - Sleeps 4
Small but perfectly formed, Penny’s cottage may be our smallest two-bedroom cottage, but it is full of charm and character which come from its original Cornish stonework, exposed beams and original features. Converted from an old cow byre around 40 years ago, it is thought to have been named after a favourite horse, which once pulled the plough on the farm.
Situated next to a very large lawn, it is a true favourite with families who wish to savour the freedom the Cornish countryside can offer.
The roof is fitted with solar panels, helping provide the cottage with green energy.
We are happy to accept well-behaved dogs, over 1 year of age, by arrangement.
There is parking for one car outside of the cottage.

The Lounge/Dining Room
The lounge has two wingback chairs and a settee and flat-screen television. There is a modern, flame-effect electric wall fire to keep you warm during the more wintery Cornish nights.
The Kitchen
There is a separate, well equipped kitchen, which has a built in oven with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge freezer, extractor fan, and plinth heater.

The ground floor bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a heated towel rail, shaver point and fan heater.
Outside
Situated next to a very large lawn, it is a true favourite with families who wish to savour the freedom Cornish countryside can offer.
Their is an outside seating area, perfect for al fresco dining and star gazing on a dark Cornish night.
Cartole is set in eight acres of grounds and although no longer a working farm we are bordered by beautiful Cornish farmland so sheep and cattle can often be found grazing just over the fence. Our grounds and field walk are ideal for exercising your dog or taking in the abundance of wildlife in our peaceful surroundings.
Children will love having the space to run around and let off steam and parents can relax, happy in the knowledge that the little ones are playing in a safe environment. We also have play equipment and garden games to ensure that there is something for everyone, whatever their age.
