Caro's Cottage - Sleeps 6*
Caro’s is our largest cottage, ideal for families wanting to spend quality time together. Like Penny’s cottage, this cottage was reputed to have been named after an old cart horse that once worked Cartole Farm’s land.
You’ll approach the cottage by seven steps and a large patio area. The cottage is situated alongside a large lawn, with far-reaching views across the fields, perfect for a restful break, watching the children as they play.
There are two allocated parking spaces for Caro’s.
We are happy to accept well-behaved dogs, over one year of age, by arrangement.
*Occupancy
The occupancy of Caro’s Cottage can be increased by an additional guest sleeping on a Z-Bed. We also provide cots for infants at no extra charge, and infants are not counted in the total occupancy of the cottage.

The Lounge
The large lounge has two comfortable settees plus a flat-screen television. A modern, flame-effect electric wall fire keeps you warm during the more wintery Cornish nights.
The Kitchen/Dinner
Follow two steps from the entrance hall, and you will find the sizeable well-appointed kitchen/ dining room, which boasts a built-in oven with ceramic hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and microwave.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The cottage has a ground-floor double bedroom with space for a cot and en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail and fan heater. The double bed has a hotel-quality pocket-sprung mattress.
The downstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over, heated towel rail, shaver point and fan heater.
On the first floor is a twin bedroom with hotel quality, pocket-sprung mattresses and beautiful countryside views from the window.
The second bedroom has bunk beds, a vanity unit and views over the garden.
The occupancy of the cottage can be increased to 7 with the use of a Z-Bed placed in the lounge. Z-Beds are supplied at an additional £60.00 per week and can be ordered when booking.
Outside
Caro’s cottage has an outside seating area for al fresco dining or star gazing on a dark night, and is set in eight acres of grounds and although no longer a working farm we are bordered by beautiful Cornish farmland so sheep and cattle can often be found grazing just over the fence. Our grounds and field walk are ideal for exercising your dog or taking in the abundance of wildlife in our peaceful surroundings.
Children will love having the space to run around and let off steam and parents can relax, happy in the knowledge that the little ones are playing in a safe environment. We also have play equipment and garden games to ensure that there is something for everyone, whatever their age.
