The Shippen - Sleeps 4*
The Shippen was created from one-half of the original large farm barn, offering plenty of space to those looking to holiday as a family. One of our larger cottages sleeps four plus a cot.
The cottage is electrically heated, and there is a VonHaus Electric flame stove for added warmth.
All beds have hotel quality, pocket-sprung mattresses and cotton bed linen. The double bedroom has space to take a cot.
Highchairs, bed guards and travel cots (please bring your own bedding) can be supplied by request at no extra charge.
There is an allocated parking space for the Shippen.
So that you know, we do not accept dogs in this cottage.
*The occupancy of the cottage can be increased to 5 using a Z-Bed placed in the lounge. Z-Beds are supplied at an additional £60.00 per week and can be ordered when booking.

Lounge Dinning
Shippen has a large lounge with a beamed ceiling and a dining nook.
Here you will find two comfortable settees, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring Cornwall—a flat-screen TV with Freeview, a VonHaus Electric stove heater and a dining nook.
Kitchen
You will enter the attractive and well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, extractor hood, and plinth heater.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
On the first floor are the double bedroom, a twin bedroom and the bathroom. Both bedrooms are dual aspect and have far reaching countryside views and views over the garden. The double bedroom is a very generous size and has room for a cot. All beds are fitted with hotel quality, pocket sprung mattresses.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, heated towel rail, shaver point and a fan heater.
Outside
Cartole is set in eight acres of grounds and although no longer a working farm we are bordered by beautiful Cornish farmland so sheep and cattle can often be found grazing just over the fence. Our grounds and field walk are ideal for exercising your dog or taking in the abundance of wildlife in our peaceful surroundings.
Children will love having the space to run around and let off steam and parents can relax, happy in the knowledge that the little ones are playing in a safe environment. We also have play equipment and garden games to ensure that there is something for everyone, whatever their age.
