Ready Money Cove – PL23 1JH.
A small, sheltered, sandy beach, slightly shelving. It is sheltered by cliffs close to the mouth of the River Fowey Estuary and bounded, on one side, by the medieval part of the Fowey and, on the other, by St Catherine’s Castle. The beach can be covered during spring tides. Reasonably safe bathing within cove, but not in the Fowey Estuary. Find out more.

The beach is cleaned daily during high season and litter bins are available.
There are tidal rock-pools.

Nearest car park: 1 car park (60 cars) close to Readymoney Beach. There is also a larger car park (450 cars) close to Fowey town centre on Hanson Drive.

Dogs allowed: Dogs are banned on Readymoney Beach from 1st July to 31st August (10am to 6pm).
