Used as the film set for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, with grounds, which border the Lynher Estuary contain modern sculptures as well as the National Collection of Daylilies.

This 18th century National Trust property was once home to the Carew Pole family. Humphrey Repton, who is well known for his Georgian style of landscaping, designed the gardens. Woods surround the property, providing plenty of pleasant walks, and members of The National Trust may enjoy free entry to the woodland garden. Gardens open March to October each year.Find out more.
