The Holiday Cottages at Cartole

The holiday cottages here at Cartole were converted from the barns of Cartole Farm. The farm has been part of the local countryside for at least 300 years.

Each cottage has it's own charm and identity, many with beamed ceilings and areas of original stone work. All the cottages are well furnished with fitted carpets and comfortable seating. The cottages are heated either by central heating or electric storage heating from mid September until mid May (available at other times for an extra charge) so they are always warm and comfortable.

Beds are made up for your arrival with high quality bed linen and king size duvets on all double beds. All cottages have flat screen TV's with Freeview, DVD and Video players. WiFi is available throughout the site. Kitchens have fullsize cookers and fridges (Caro's and Shippen have fridge freezers) all are fully equipped for your every need. The bathrooms have full size suites with an electric shower over the bath except Old Stable which has an en-suite shower room with under floor heating and a power shower. Caro's has an additional en-suite shower room. All bathrooms have an electric fan heater and a heated towel rail.

We have a laundry room with coin operated washer and dryer and a freezer. There are also outside drying facilities. Each cottages has it's own ironing board, steam iron and clothes airer.

Please note that towels are not provided unless you request them at a cost of £5 per set (1 Bath and 1 Hand towel).
